Instructions for the Term Paper

The text of the paper should be about 5 pages using 11pt font with 1.5 line spacing and reasonable margins. Use a separate page for your bibliography. Do not add a title page. Put your name in the header area of the first page. Make sure your paper starts with a title and an abstract of no more than 1/3 of a page.
Guard against plagiarism: Do not cut and paste text. If you really think you need to use text verbatim, you must quote the entire copied text. Reference your bibliography anytime you directly use information from one of your sources. If you copy and paste a diagram, place the notation "Diagram from xxx" into the figure caption, where xxx is the reference to your bibliography.
Bring your paper to my office by 2:20pm, March 18 (end of the Exam time), or, send me an electronic copy by noon on March 18. I will acknowledge receipt by 2:20pm, it is your responsibility to insure that your paper did reach me.
